The Marketing Committee serves as the communications and engagement hub of App State's Staff Senate, helping connect Senators, staff and the broader App State community to the work and initiatives of the Senate. The committee collaborates closely with all committees and the Executive Board to promote programs, events, scholarships, fundraising efforts and campus engagement opportunities throughout the year.
From managing the Staff Senate website and social media presence to developing promotional campaigns and communication toolkits, the committee plays a central role in shaping how Staff Senate shares information and builds community awareness.
The committee works to:
- Maintain and develop the Staff Senate website and digital communications
- Create and manage social media and promotional content
- Support outreach and marketing for events, AppKIDS, scholarships, fundraising and Senate initiatives
- Develop branding, graphics, logos and communication materials
- Promote Staff Senate Scholarships to increase awareness and attract qualified applicants
- Maintain the official membership roster and University division listings
- Support Staff Senate elections and communicate membership updates
