The App State's Staff Senate hosts two Silent Auctions each year — one in the spring and one in the fall — to support important staff and community causes. Proceeds from the spring auction benefit AppKIDS, a long-standing program that helps local children in need. The fall auction supports Staff Scholarships, which provide financial assistance to App State staff members pursuing educational goals.
Each auction features a variety of donated items, themed baskets and unique prizes contributed by campus departments and community partners. Bidding takes place online and concludes with an in-person event where the excitement peaks as everyone tries to place last-minute winning bids. Together, these auctions showcase the generosity and Mountaineer spirit that make App State’s community so special.

Bidding is a fun and easy way to make a difference
Bidding in the silent auctions is now easier than ever! Visit the new Silent Auction Google Site to see the items up for grabs. Then, when you're ready to bid, simply click on the "Bid on this item" link below each photo. You'll be sent right to a Google Form for the item, where you can put in your information and see other bids. Happy bidding and thanks for your support!
