In addition to serving as part of the full Staff Senate, each Senator participates in one or more committees that help support the mission, initiatives and day-to-day work of the Senate. Committees are where ideas turn into action — bringing together Senators with different skills, interests and perspectives to plan events, lead projects, support employees, strengthen communication and build community across App State. Whether focused on outreach, fundraising, engagement, or advocacy, each committee plays an important role in helping the Staff Senate serve and connect the university community.
